About Us
"These aren't bad kids...these are kids in bad situations."

Since 1991,  Life House has helped countless high-risk, homeless youth gain the things many other kids might take as granted...
...things like shelter, love and self-worth.

For over 17 years, Life House has served low-income, high-risk and homeless youth by providing access to education and employment, health services and housing opportunities.

Life House offers a variety of on-site programs and activities designed to stop the cycle of poverty and homelessness for young people in the Duluth community.

"Life House is a safe place I can go to heal."                                                                                   - Lauren, homeless at age 18

Life House opened the LIFELINE Building in June 2001.   Within the building, Life House Youth Center & Support Services work together to meet the needs of homeless youth, getting kids off the streets and back into the community!

Life House offers our Housing Services, KATS Health Services, and Futures Education and Employment programs through the First Avenue West entrance Monday through Friday, 8:30am–6pm

Life House Youth/Teen Parent Centers, located on the first floor of the LIFELINE Building (West First Street Entrance), are open Monday through Friday, 3pm–9pm

and now open Saturdays and Sundays, 12pm-4pm!

The Life House Youth Center is open to all youth ages 14-20
